YES!! This is the kick off of Pride this year in VT. Unlike years past, We will have a whole giant week of Pride events, and this First Friday is going to be HOT! Fourth of July + fabulous acoustic peformance/dance party = FIERCE! Dj Llu spins from 10 - 11:30pm, and Precious spins 11:30 til close. Details on the acoustic performance from 8 - 10pm TBA. Bad Girls!

"Bad Girls" is another event in the week long celebration of Pride! Dj Precious will spin FAB music from 10pm til 2am at the 1/2 Lounge. Come and have unique drinks, and dancing, along with conversation in a great outdoor seating area all night. This event will help to raise funds for Pride, while getting everyone pumped for the week ahead. Don't Stay in and be a good girl...

Ping Ping! A Drag Bingo

Drag Bingo will be held at 1/2 Lounge in Downtown Burlington. The Balls will be pulled my our Favorite Queen Miss. Celeste LeRue! Who will win? How many drinks can you have when the famous "O 69" social ball gets called? (In memory of Lady Zeno) The night starts at 7pm and goes until 10pm with a great band to follow, can't wait to see ya!

Pride Cruise

The Dance on Water Pride cruise is proudly sponsored by VGSA. Dj Precious spins for 4 hours of fun on the water. The boat leaves at 8pm sharp, so don't be late!! In years past the cruise only went 8-11pm, but as mentioned above the cruise is going an extra hour this year until midnight! On top of that, the boat will also be stopping in the middle of the lake! You will also catch an appearance by Celeste LeRue, and maybe some of the other POOF! girls. This year's VGSA Pride cruise will be fantastic, and we hope to see you there! Save $10 bucks when you buy tickets in groups of ten ($30 a person).

Dj Lady Miss. Kier of Deelite will be spinning at Club Metronome!! So After the VGSA Cruise is finished the night continues with more great music and danciing. The night will also feature a performance by Rue Mevlana, and Dj sets from Rob Douglas, A Dog, and J2!

Pride Parade

This year, as some of you may already know is being held back at the WATERFRONT!! So the parade will start there this year. The route of the parade starts from Lake Street, up Main Street, left on to Church Street, then on to Cherry Street, and will continue down on Battery Street where it will end back on Lake Street/the Waterfront. In years past the parade typically started at 12 noon, but we are starting around 11am so we can maximize the use of the Waterfront for the daytime festival. So make sure you arrive at 10:30 am if you are going to be in the parade at the Waterfront, otherwise find your place on the parade route and watch it go by! After, make your way to the Waterfront from 12 - 3pm for an amazing afternoon.

Pride Festival

After the parade has finished, come on down to a daytime party! The Pride Festival will take place at the Burlington Waterfront once the parade completes its route. The whole festival last from 12 noon until 3pm on Saturday, July 12th within a HUGE 6,000 sq. ft. tent! At the Festival you will find great vendors selling merchandise from local businesses, as well as some non-local businesses. There will also be some booths simply providing information about organizations that provide services to our diverse community. The Festival will also showcase local performances and crowd favorites such as Celeste LeRue, The House of LeMay, Antara, Josie Levitts, and Karen Grenier!! Dj Chia will also be providing fun music to keep the vibe feeling good. Precious will emcee the afternoon event. We must also let you know that there will not be any special event parking provided at the Waterfront Pride Festival. Downtown Burlington , as well as the Waterfront area provides parking in several garages, and metered spots along streets. The Waterfront also provides parking lots that you pay for by the hour. A smoking area will be provided within the festival grounds. Smoking within any tent or surrounding area is prohibited. Other details, if any, or changes to any part of the daytime event will be announced here. Remember sun-block to protect your skin if needed, make sure your feet stay comfortable, and bring anything else like a folding chair, blanket to lay or sit on, or any other items that may help to maximize your enjoyment of the Pride festival. And one last thing... Have a great time! Bring your friends, family, and partners! This event is for everyone to share and enjoy!

Burly Bear Beer Blast

The 2nd Annual Burly Bear Blast! Saturday, July 12th just after the Pride festival at the Burlington Waterfront. This event will be held at Club Metronome from 4 - 7pm. Bring your buddies! Come celebrate Pride with local bears, cubs, and their admirers! Beer specials, contests, prizes, music by Dj Papi Javi. Donations to benefit Pride Vermont.
